We specialize in architecturally sympathetic conservatories that feel like a natural evolution of your home. Our designs prioritize maximum glass exposure while maintaining structural integrity.
We choose Sapele over Oak or Softwood because it offers the highest stability-to-weight ratio in the industry.
Advanced solar-tint glass reflects up to 78% of solar heat, preventing the "greenhouse effect" even in direct July sunlight.
Guaranteed protection for all solid or flat roof elements with a world-leading, maintenance-free membrane.
Transforming a tired conservatory into a timeless heritage orangery with refined architectural detail.
To ensure your property investment is secured with the finest materials available in the UK, we offer a price-match assurance on any authentic, like-for-like proposal utilizing the same elite Sapele and Sarnafil specifications.
Our use of high-strength Glulam beams allows for expansive, open-plan architectural designs. By laminating select timber layers, we achieve a structural stability that eliminates the warping common in solid wood.

We searched and pontificated a lot on our kitchen extension, met a number of people but were not really convinced... We called Dave and he got us straight away. The whole process was brilliant, done on time and aftercare has been fabulous. We spend all our time now in the orangery which has the kitchen, dining and seating area the rest of the house is almost superfluous. Could not recommend them highly enough.
It is the best addition to our home that we could have made... a fabulous party space with easy access to the patio for a real indoor/outdoor experience. We can't praise Dave, Steve, and Mark more highly. It was a professional and smooth process that was planned and executed with almost military precision. Steve is a true craftsman with an eye for detail and incredible finishes. We would not hesitate for one second to recommend Farrow & Jones.
Yes. Many parts of Northamptonshire, from the historic stone villages of the Rockingham Forest to protected areas in Oundle and Towcester, have strict "Article 4" directions. We manage the entire architectural design and planning application process, ensuring your timber conservatory meets the specific heritage requirements of North and West Northamptonshire Councils.
While uPVC is a common mass-market option, it lacks the structural integrity required for a luxury, long-term investment. uPVC has a high "thermal expansion" rate, meaning it expands and contracts significantly in the sun, which can stress seals and lead to leaks over time. Sapele hardwood is incredibly stable and rigid; it provides a far superior architectural finish, better natural insulation, and a lifespan of 50+ years, significantly outperforming plastic alternatives in both aesthetics and durability.
Absolutely. We move beyond the "plastic" conservatories of the past by using SAP-calculated insulation and high-performance Solar Control glass. This technology reflects 78% of solar heat in the summer while retaining internal warmth in the winter, creating a 365-day living space that is as comfortable as any other room in your home.
Northamptonshire architecture is famous for its warm ironstone and limestone. We specialize in bespoke timber mouldings and paint finishes—utilizing the Teknos factory-applied system—that can be colour-matched to complement local stone. We ensure the joinery details reflect the period of your property, whether it's a 17th-century cottage or a Victorian rectory.
We use a high-specification structural glazing system specifically designed for timber frames. Unlike standard uPVC "snap-on" cappings which can degrade in UV light, our system uses heavy-duty aluminum cappings with high-performance EPDM gaskets. This creates a dual-layer seal that allows the timber to breathe while ensuring the glass roof remains 100% watertight and rattle-free, even in extreme weather.
The journey from initial design to final handover is typically 20 to 26 weeks. This includes the design consultation, the statutory 8-week council planning window, and the handcrafted manufacturing of your timber components in our workshop. The onsite build phase usually takes 8 to 12 weeks, depending on the complexity of the groundworks.
