Built for living , loved for a lifetime.
The Farrow & Jones Warwickshire home-showroom is designed as a living example of bespoke craftsmanship and performance engineering.
Clients can experience the warmth, materials, and precision joinery in a real home environment. It demonstrates how a fully integrated orangery can transform everyday living.
Built with Solid Sapele hardwood and protected by a multi-stage Teknos finish, the structure is designed for decades of durability. Tricoya® fascia boards and traditional lead-dressed entablature maintain architectural integrity while resisting weather and structural wear. Every element prioritizes longevity and timeless design.
The defining structural achievement of this project is the continuous 6-meter span of bespoke timber bi-folding doors. Engineered with hidden structural reinforcement within the Sapele header, this expanse allows for an uninterrupted, panoramic view of the Warwickshire landscape.
Unlike standard folding doors, our system utilizes a flush-threshold, stainless steel track, ensuring that the internal living area and the external terrace exist on a single, seamless plane. This “indoor-outdoor” synergy is protected by high-specification solar-control glazing, which reflects 78% of heat gain in summer while maintaining a U-value of 1.0 during winter months.
To ensure the longevity of the Warwickshire Home-Showroom, every element was selected for its Permanence.
We utilized Tricoya® for all high-exposure fascia boards to prevent rot and movement, while the 4-stage Teknos coating ensures the hand-painted finish remains vibrant for years.
This is not merely an extension; it is a living demonstration of how bespoke joinery can redefine a home’s footprint.
The finished orangery creates a spacious open-plan environment that connects kitchen, dining, and relaxation areas. Large glazed openings bring natural light inside while maintaining seamless views of the surrounding garden. The space becomes the central hub for family life and entertaining.
The project combines structural precision with modern thermal performance. Solar control glazing regulates temperature throughout the year, while zoned underfloor heating provides consistent comfort. The result is a space engineered for both efficiency and daily lifestyle use.
The Warwickshire orangery represents the balance of architectural heritage and modern craftsmanship. From the tulipwood kitchen frames to the hand-painted cabinetry finish, every detail reflects precision and quality. The result is a refined living space that showcases the full potential of bespoke design.
